Every culture in the world has some form of dancing – for celebration, in rituals or worship. Laura Anne Passarello brings us snapshots of these different cultural dances in this lovely book. While each page obviously contains figures caught in a recognizable moment from a dance, Laura Anne does more than just show us a couple, or figures dancing. She brings the dances to life. Intricate tiles, totem poles, tartans, or native scenery reflect the different cultures in the backgrounds of each design. Coloring these designs is a great way to “get away” with a virtual visit to another country!
