I have a number of circus memories from when I was younger. I would visit my parents in Venice, Florida, which for many years was the “winter home” of the Ringing Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. I think the one thing I always regretted about the “three-ring circus” was that there was always so much going on that if you concentrated on one thing, you missed half a dozen other fun things! In addition to the main acts in the rings, there were always moving acts traveling the path around the rings – clowns clowning around, interesting animals doing their trained acts, tumblers and acrobats, high wire acts, and on and on. This book does a really good job of capturing all of that action in the 40 illustrations. Any circus lover will enjoy coloring these intricate designs!
