Jennidee Mills has brought us a new type of coloring book. Colour Your Life is not just a series of images to color, it’s a series of journaling pages to color. Each page focuses on a different aspect of life – friends, family, work, hobbies – or a concept – happiness, fear, anger, beliefs.

The designs to color are only on one side of each page. Each image has a certain amount of free space where you can write in your thoughts or feelings. On the back of each page, Jennidee has a brief description of the concept on the opposing page, and what you might journal about in the spaces on the page.

I admit that I’m not much for journaling, I’ve tried a few times, but it’s just not “my thing” I guess. But if you like the idea of putting your thoughts down, and appreciate having a few prompts to get you started, then Colour Your Life should give you plenty of ideas to think about. The designs are cute without being childish, and not too detailed, so you can spend more time journaling and less time coloring teeny little spaces.

Do you have this book? What do you think of it? Let us know in the comments!
