A coloring book by a tattoo artist? It may seem odd, but if you think about it, most tattoos are just line art. So they actually work pretty well for coloring! Erik Siuda is a skilled tattoo artist, who was a finalist on the TV show Ink Master. In this book, he selected a variety of tattoo designs which have a floral component. The designs are suitable even for beginners or children, although there are some “scary” designs like a human heart surrounded by flowers and a couple flower-bedecked skulls that might not be suitable for younger colorists.

In an interview during season five of Ink Master, Erik said:

I like to use my imagination to come up with imagery and not really cut and paste and copy things that I find that are relevant into the subject matter.

Doing an internet search on the “history of tattoos” gives us some interesting facts. Tattoos have been found on ancient bodies from as far back as the Neolithic period, and on mummified bodies from Egypt. It is even theorized, due to their location, that some tattoos were administered to serve a medicinal purpose, similar to acupuncture.
